Banana Workout Smoothie

I am in LA for a Guess Runway show and i’m super excited. Pre fitting I prepped for a 5 mile run at Pepperdine University with my favorite Breakfast Smoothie (besides the GGS). 

It has five simple ingredients: ice, bananas, oatmeal, almonds, and almond milk (If you are a dairy fan I would suggest adding greek yogurt instead).  It’s loaded with protein, healthy fats, fiber, and naturally sweet. It’s the perfect pre-workout meal. 
1/4 cup cooked oatmeal
1/3 cup greek yogurt
1 banana
5 ice cubes
8 almonds

Microwave the oatmeal with 1/2 cup of water for 1.5 minutes. Place all ingredients in a blender and process till smooth. For an antioxidant boost sprinkle with cinnamon.
